About The Ruby Cora Wedding Venue

The Ruby Cora proudly sits in the heart of The Gunn Farm. Established in 1886 by William Henry and Cora Gunn, the Gunn farm sits in a small community outside of Clarksville called Port Royal in Montgomery County, Tennessee. The farm is approximately 140 acres and is a registered Century Farm recognized by the State of Tennessee. After the current owners of the Gunn Farm were married there in 2015, many guests began to question why the stunning piece of property was not shared with others and thus, The Ruby Cora wedding venue was brought to life.

Details of the Grounds

To begin your Ruby Cora wedding day, you , your partner, and your respective wedding parties can get ready in the designated Bridal and Groom’s suites. The Bridal Suite includes a salon-like vanity area, a wet bar, and plenty of space for everyone to experience a little extra southern hospitality. The Bridal suite is a photographer’s dream come true with an abundance of natural light flooding in. The Groom’s suite is across the hall and has a very comfortable “man cave” vibe.

For your ceremony, The Ruby Cora offers numerous options for the perfect vow exchange. With numerous outdoor ceremony sites, the options are endless for decor and vibes on your wedding day. Concerned about the weather? The Ruby Cora also offers their Grand Room as an option for a ceremony site.

The Grand Room is The Ruby Cora’s main wedding reception space. With industrial ceilings, contemporary cement flooring, and the option to totally open up to the outdoor lanai, it is a sophisticated room spanning over 3,000 square feet. Bring in your unique color palette, decor, and entertainment for an event that feels truly unique to you and your partner. Your guests will appreciate the beautiful space.

Photography Opportunities at The Ruby Cora

The Ruby Cora’s stylish decor and architectural make for some unique and modern wedding photo backdrops. We can incorporate light fixtures and an abundance of dramatic natural light. All while taking advantage of the stunning interior of this beautiful building. One of my favorite aspects of this wedding venue is the historic Bell Tower, an iconic piece of history that can also be rung after saying your “I Do’s”. The property is overflowing with endless photography opportunities, and is truly one of my favorites to photography weddings at.
