A Piece of Knoxville History

This Knoxville wedding venue was originally erected in 1799 serving as a private residence to Reverend Graham Ramsey. Maple Grove Estate remained a private residence until 1993 when it was transformed into a elegant Bed and Breakfast. During the following years, it was home to various events such as wedding parties.

Spearheaded by the Shankle family in 2018, the plantation was renovated to accentuate the Georgian & Federal-style roots. Surrounded by nearly 15 acres of rolling Tennessee hills, the home’s true beauty and land makes it the perfect place for stunning romantic weddings.

To begin your Maple Grove Estate wedding day, you, your partner, and bridal party can get ready in either of the spacious luxury suites on site. The groom’s suite offers panoramic views of the grounds, a private wash room, and is equipped with a large flat screen television (no game days missed).

For your ceremony, Maple Grove Estate’s lush ceremony space provides the perfect backdrop for a stunning vow exchange. As you walk down the aisle towards your future spouse, take in the natural beauty of the surrounding foliage.

Once the ceremony concludes, you can retreat to the covered patio. This reception area is a place of basic decorations, classically adorned by the estates stunning architecture, creating a neutral canvas to transform in to your dream reception space.
