Jackson Hole is a profoundly gorgeous space that feels custom-made for the explorers. Whether you call this spot your home or it’s your dream destination, there’s always a new spot just begging to be explored. So, when you are planning your Jackson Hole wedding, you might as well find the space that quenches your thirst for adventure. Trust me, I get it. As a Jackson Hole wedding photographer, I have been lucky enough to go behind the scenes at some of the most breathtaking weddings. If you are looking for Jackson Hole wedding venues, here are five of the spots I always recommend.
5700 Snake River Road, Wilson, Wyoming 83014
The land that would become Snake River Ranch was purchased back in 1929, sight unseen. This leap of faith turned out to be the best decision of Stanley Resor’s life. These beautiful grounds were transformed into a cattle farm that was passed down from generation to generation. Today, the ranch remains a popular spot for events, including weddings. Located just 12 miles northwest of Jackson, it offers a convenient spot where you can plan your event.
With Snake River Ranch, you will be able to host up to 300 guests for your wedding day. There are a number of different locations where you can host your celebration. For those who want an outdoor wedding surrounded by nothing but wilderness, you can use the Giltner Venue, which has premium views of the Grand Tetons. The nearby Sewell Venue lets you exchange vows in grassy fields near the Gros Ventre Mountains. Smaller weddings can happen at The Ranch, where you can host up to 50 guests. They also have an on-site barn where you will find a rustic backdrop for your ceremony.
With Snake River Ranch, you are essentially just booking a location where your party can unfold. The venue requests that you work with a professional planner who will help you put all the other pieces in order. You will be able to choose catering, shuttle services, and other vendors so you can have a day completely customized to your vision.
6355 N Red Tail Road, Jackson, Wyoming 83001
Antelope Trails Ranch is a family-owned space that offers luxury vacation rentals. When you stay here, you will be on 67 acres of premium Wyoming Land with over 900 feet of riverfront access. You will have exceptional amenities, including a 12-person hot tub, horses you can ride, kayaks, lawn games, and a pickleball court. No matter what you need for your wedding weekend, you’ll find it at this location!
If you choose to book Antelope Trails Ranch for your wedding, you are going to have lodging accommodations for up to 32 guests. If you choose to get married amidst nature, you will have rivers and mountains as your backdrop. Once you are done exchanging vows, you can head over to the lawn of the ranch, where your guests can enjoy premium drinks while playing games. For your reception, you will have access to the full-scale kitchen so your caterers can create your meal on-site. The venue will let you pitch an event tent if you’d like your reception to be shaded. They also have indoor conference rooms where you can host this portion. The venue will let you work with whatever vendors you want for your wedding day and can provide their own staff members to make sure things run smoothly.
24000 N Gun Barrel Flats Road, Jackson Hole, Wyoming 83013
Ranches like Diamond Cross Ranch are a bit of a dying breed. While the countryside was once rich with cowboys charging down the open fields, it’s become harder and harder to find spots that celebrate the authentic history of the area. Diamond Cross Ranch gives you a unique chance to ride through the pages of history and see the land as it once was. This private property has been operating since 1912, and the land surrounding it has remained relatively untouched. When you choose this spot for your wedding, you will have the chance to exchange your vows in the midst of the rugged wilderness.
The venue offers guest access from May 1 through late October. And while the surroundings might be rustic, the service is anything but. Throughout your wedding weekend, you can stay on the property and enjoy top-of-the-line accommodations. This venue can host grand ceremonies with up to 700 guests. You will have your choice of indoor and outdoor locations for your celebration. If you choose one of their open fields, you might experience some wedding crashers, including buffalo, elk, and antelope grazing around in the backdrop! The chefs behind Diamond Cross Ranch will take care of your food and beverage services.
2733 East 10800 South Victor, Idaho 83455
If you want to turn your wedding into a getaway, you really can’t do much better than Moose Creek Ranch. This is one of my favorite spots because of its views as well as its versatility. While some people love to load up an RV and stay on the grounds, others love to live it up with their glamping tents where you can go off-grid in luxury. They also offer cabins where you can relax once you’re done with your day of exploration. While the area is in Idaho, you will be a short 20-minute drive away from Jackson Hole. You will be able to spend the weekend horseback riding, hiking, and taking a wildlife tour in the days leading up to your wedding.
When the day of your celebration arrives, you will be able to exchange your vows right at the base of the Teton Pass. Then, once it’s time for your reception, you can head to the event barn, where you will have heating and cooling. The venue is able to accommodate up to 150 guests. They will let you choose from a list of preferred vendors so you can have the day you’ve always dreamed about!
25 N. Cache Street, Jackson, Wyoming 83001
The Lower Lounge at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is an awesome spot for after-wedding bashes! It’s got its own bar, right by the dance floor, and it can hold up to 80 people. If you’re feeling extra fancy, you can rent out the entire Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, which can fit a whopping 476 guests. The rental cost will vary depending on the season, day of the week, and time. The Million Dollar Cowboy Bar is also super helpful and can hook you up with catering, entertainment, dance lessons, and whatever else you need to make your party extra special.
If you are looking for ideal Jackson Hole wedding venues, be sure to check out these spots! With any of these venues, you can have jaw-dropping views in one of the best places on earth!
